1. Bill Peet is my favorite artist of all time. The character portrayed here is the Whindingdilly, from my favorite book of his. He also worked on some of my favorite Disney movies which include The Jungle Book, The Sword in the Stone, and 101 Dalmations. He’s done some other’s, but those are just a few. X) 2. Avatar the Last Airbender: Before introduced me to this show, I was under the impression that all anime was crap. I am happy to say that I now love this show and several other animes. 3. Ratatouille: This movie gave me a huge shove into the world of art. It was thanks to this movie that I became so interested in art. Plus, Linguini’s my first cartoon crush. Lol 4. I looooooooved horses and unicorns when I was a kid. They were practically all I drew, and I loved the movie the Last Unicorn. 5. Scottie Young, illustrated The Wonderful Wizard of Oz comics, which got me interested in comic books. His style is fabulous and inspiring! 6. Most of my childhood was spent loathing pigs, but now that I’m older, (and we have no more of them) I kind of like them. They are very unique animals and very fun to watch…..and ride! Seriously pig riding is fun stuff. XD 7. Lord of the Rings is the first thing I’ve ever really obsessed over. Good times! 8. I love Invader Zim and the creepiness of it. Enough said. 9. I know some people will roll their eyes at this, but really religion has had a huge impact on my life. It affects what I draw and who I am as a person. It’s what ultimately guides me through my life. Recently I’ve not been as devoted, but I’ve been getting back on track with what really matters and it’s made a huge difference in my life already. 10. *B1nd1 has such beautiful and sweet artwork. She constantly amazes me not only with her mad art skills, but the subject matter. Her art just tugs at the heartstrings. 11. ZOMG Danny Phantom! I remember the first time I saw this show I was sooooooo obsessed. Unfortunately I didn’t have the means to watch it. I was finally able to watch the show after it was over…which sucked! D8 Anyway, I just loved it and as my gallery indicates, I’ve gotten a lot in inspiration from this show. 12. Dick King Smith is one of my favorite writers ever, and I’ve always loved his cute animal stories. Thanks to him, and some other writers of cutesy animal stories, I’m pretty good at drawing animals. X) 13. Tim Burton movies are amazing and have had an effect on my art. (although you wouldn’t know it because I fail at Tim Burton style) 14. My newest obsession, How to Train Your Dragon has been a huge inspiration. 15. ~tugaMaggie, my internet bff, has been my friend for a little over three years now. She keeps me going and inspires me all the time whether it be through an insane conversation, or emotional support. She’s an amazing person and artist and I probably wouldn’t be on dA were it not for her. 16. DNAngel was the first manga I read, and it’s opened my eyes to a lot of wonderful manga series. 17. The works of Mr. Miyazaki are sensational! I remember Sophie saying "You think you've got it bad? I've never once been beautiful in my entire life!" It put some things into perspective. 18. Kittehs! My cats, and just cats in general inspire me. The way they move, behave and everything about them is just so mysterious and interesting. My dream pet is a sphinx cat. I’m determined to have one someday. XD I’ve held one before, they’re surprisingly warm and have peach fuzz fur. It’s so cool! >8D 19. +Anima is my favorite manga and it has inspired a few drawings. X) It’s refreshing to read a series without anything perverted. It’s just a fun manga with awesome characters. 20. Ahh, Owl City! I know the lyrics are kinda silly, but I freaking love his songs! They’re amazing and again, I know that when I’m listening to Owl City, I don’t have to worry about there being dirty lyrics. XD 21. I’ve always been fascinated by fables. 22. The How to Train Your Dragon book series has been inspirational as well. Cressida Cowell has a great sense of humor and an interesting style of writing which I find to be quite refreshing.
